Talk
Ask, and hear it their way.
The copy answers the way they would, from what they told.

OtherMy for iPhone and iPad
OtherMy learns how someone talks from their answers, memories, voice messages and chats. Years from now, their family can still ask them things and hear the answer in their own words.

Talk
The copy answers the way they would, from what they told.

For someone you love
Alive or remembered. Up to five family members build it with you.

Voice
Their recordings, and with Premium, calls with their copy in their own voice.

Family
Parents, grandparents, partners and children, each copy a tap away.

Your child
A notebook of first words and funny moments. Only you see it.

Gently
Before the first talk with a copy of someone who has passed away, a quiet word first.

Most of us only think of what we wanted to ask our parents once we can't. How they met. What they were afraid of. How the soup is really made. OtherMy keeps the answers, in their words and their voice.
How it works
Step 1
Of yourself, or of someone you love: a parent, a grandparent, a friend. Alive or remembered. Your own starts with a short conversation of six questions.

Step 2
Answer a few questions at a time by typing or by talking. Add memories with photos, voice recordings and their real chats. Brothers and sisters add what they remember.

Step 3
Talk with the copy whenever you miss them. It answers the way they would, says when it doesn't know, and with Premium speaks in their own voice.

What's inside
Older parents don't have to type. Hand them the phone; they talk, and the app writes it down for a look before saving. Usually right on the phone, with nothing sent anywhere.
Questions, in 8 chapters

From childhood to what matters most. A few at a time, whenever you like.
Invite up to five family members to the same copy. Everyone adds what they remember.
Bring in WhatsApp chats and the copy learns how they actually wrote: the nicknames, the jokes, the way they said good night.
Words, photos, voice or video that reach someone on a birthday, a wedding day, or after you're gone.
People you trust look after your copy if something happens to you. Until then they can do nothing.
A year of Pro or Premium, or a plan for good, as a code for a parent.
OtherMy keeps how someone talked and what they remembered. It is not the person, and it never pretends to be.
Download everything you shared, in one file, whenever you like. Delete any part, or your whole account.
No ads, and your data is never sold. What you share only makes your copy sound like them.
If OtherMy ever closes, you hear at least 90 days before, with time to take everything with you.
A loved one's voice is used only with their consent, or your right as family where the law allows it.
After you're gone, the people you chose decide, not us.
Keep the app closed to anyone who picks up your phone.

OtherMy is an iPhone and iPad app that keeps a person's stories, their way of talking and, if you choose, their voice. You build a copy of yourself or of someone you love by answering questions, adding memories, recordings and real chats. Later you and your family can talk with it and hear things answered the way they would answer.
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. You answer questions about them, sit with them and let them answer by talking, add their voice messages and the chats you have with them. Their voice is only used with their consent, or your right as family where the law allows it.
No. A copy is not the person and never pretends to be. It is a way to keep how someone talked, what they remembered and what they cared about, so the people who love them can still ask. Before the first talk with a copy of someone who has passed away, the app explains this gently.
Yes. The person who made a copy can invite up to five family members with a code. Once confirmed, they add their own memories, answers and recordings to the same copy and can talk with it too.
It stays yours. You can download everything you shared in one file at any time, and delete any part or your whole account. Nothing you share is used to train public AI models. If OtherMy ever closes, you will hear at least 90 days before, with time to download everything.
Someone you trust, like a son or a sister. While you are here they can do nothing. If something happens to you, they can ask for your copy to pass into their care; you get 30 days and several reminders to say you are fine before anything changes.
Yes, you can start for free. Paid plans start at $0.99 a month and add more questions, people, memories and recordings. Talking with a copy in its own voice comes with Premium. You can also give a plan to a parent as a gift.
